Ehh, what do you expect? I come from the laziest generation of Americans to date.

I wouldn't fault you for consuming too much alcohol and fried fish.

Oy, whippersnapper! I can be held to account for many things but over consumption of alcohol and fried fish don't feature high on the list (not unless you count fish sauteed in butter and herbs as just some kind of smartass frying of course...).

Oy vey, old coot! Twas merely a lazy attempt at humor, pointing out the stereotype that Scots drinks heavily and love fried fish.

I was just listening to something that reminded me of the DS snippet you posted. Check out 6:15 – 7:27 on Alligator (Track 9):

I know I've heard the GDTRFB tease a few times in '60s shows, but I'm not sure if this is the first one. This version of Alligator with a nice jam sandwiched in between is also one of my favorite versions. Nothing tops 03/16/68 though.
